Set X Sharing Points

Sharing rewards can enhance your brand's visibility on social media. When customers share a designated link to your store on X, they can earn points accordingly.

This guide outlines the setup process, including operational applications and critical considerations.

Set Point Rules

Click Add ways to earn -> Share X link -> Add:

  • Rule name: Provide a name for this reward rule to facilitate easy management.

  • Earn points: Specify the number of points awarded for sharing your store page on X.

  • URL to share: Set the sharing URL.

  • Message to share: Use the preset message or customize as your business needs.

  • Set earning frequency: Choose how often points can be earned from sharing, such as daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or only on the first sharing post.

    TIP

To prevent abuse, the system only awards points for the first share by default. Setting a high frequency for point awards is not recommended.

FAQ

Q1: What happens if a customer cancels their share, will the points be deducted?

A: Our system doesn't track whether a customer has actually made or canceled a share, so once points are awarded for sharing, they will not be deducted if the sharing is canceled.

Q2: What if my URL fails validation?

A: Ensure the URL is correct and reflects a valid Facebook page. The system checks URLs against a set pattern. If the URL is correct but validation fails, verify it includes the entire path necessary to navigate directly to your page.

Q3: Can I adjust how often points are awarded for sharing?

A: The frequency of earning points for sharing is uniformly set for all customers and does not support individual customization. To prevent fraud, we advise against setting the frequency too high.
