Get started quickly with Stock Alert
After installing, go to the Stock Alert home page and click Create plan in the top right corner. You can quickly set up stock rules, monitor stock levels, and keep your products available for sale.
Set stock thresholds for your products
- Plan name: Name your plan to easily manage and identify it later.
- Product type: Choose whether you're monitoring physical or virtual products.
- Location: Select the warehouse location for stock tracking (all locations or specific locations).
- Select products: Choose how to apply stock alerts:
- All products:
- Set one lower and upper threshold for all products.
- Low-stock alerts trigger when stock falls below the lower limit; high-stock alerts trigger when stock exceeds the upper limit.
- Specific product variants:
- Click Add product, select one or more variants, and click Save. Note: Stock alerts can't be set for products without stock tracking.
- You can set stock thresholds individually or in bulk for selected variants.
- Click Stock alert, enter your thresholds, and click Confirm to save.

Configure email notifications and delivery schedule
Once thresholds are set, configure email alerts to keep the right team members informed.
Email notification settings
- Email notification status: Enable or disable email notifications (enabled by default).
Delivery settings
- Push day: Choose which day of the week emails are sent, like "Every Monday."
- Push time: Set a specific time to send alerts, ideally during working hours.
- Push rules:
- Send only when products meet alert conditions: Avoid empty emails by sending only when stock conditions are met.
- Ignore products that allow overselling: Ignore products that can still be sold even with zero stock to keep alerts relevant.
Email content setup
- Recipients: Enter the email addresses to receive stock alerts.
- Email subject: Customize the subject line (e.g., "Low Stock Notification") for easy recognition.
TIP
We recommend adding purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams as recipients to ensure fast follow-up.
Click Save to activate your stock alert plan.
Manage your stock alert plans
Once created, all your stock alert plans can be managed in one place.
View stock alert plans
The plan list shows:
- Plan name
- Status (enabled/disabled)
- Lower/Upper thresholds
- Product scope and quantity
- Last updated time
You can search for plans by name.
Manage your plans
Click More next to a plan to:
- Notify now: Manually trigger an alert immediately without waiting for the next scheduled send.
- Delete plan: Remove the plan. Deleted plans stop all related notifications.
TIP
Manually triggering an alert won’t affect your scheduled sends.
