Quick Start Guide
Markivo Referral & Rewards offers three interactive marketing strategies: Referral Rewards, Gift Box, and Gift Card. This guide will walk you through configuring a Christmas Card Collection campaign in just five minutes.
Scenario Overview
Suppose you are the marketing director of a luxury cosmetics brand gearing up for the Christmas sales season. During this pivotal retail period, your objectives are:
- Boost Sales: Capitalize on the festive shopping surge to significantly increase sales.
- Attract New Customers: Engage new customers with enticing marketing campaigns to expand your customer base.
- Enhance Customer Loyalty: Strengthen brand loyalty among existing customers by providing superior service and rewarding experiences.
- Optimize Inventory: Clear seasonal stock to make space for new product lines by leveraging the sales season.
Besides conventional promotional tactics like discount and custom gift sets, you plan to implement digital marketing campaigns, particularly focusing on card collection, to ensure a successful Christmas season.
Installation and Enablement
- Log into your Shopify admin panel, install and activate Markivo Referral & Rewards.
- Navigate to Apps -> Markivo Referral & Rewards, locate the Gift Card Collection tab, and click Create.
Campaign Configuration
Step 1: Basic Settings
Here, you can define the campaign's fundamental details:
- Campaign Name: Give your campaign a catchy name, e.g., "Christmas Card Clash
- Target Customer: All users or specific tagged users.
- Campaign Period: Specify the campaigns active period, e.g., from 2024/12/01 00:00 to 2024/12/24 23:59.
- Campaign Style: Select a Christmas theme.
Detail the campaign rules and prizes to enhance transparency and credibility. The system will automatically validate email addresses to ensure only new user invitations can earn card rewards. Additional verifications such as IP or browser fingerprint checks can be added.
Step 2: Card Management
Under the Card tab, define card names like xmas, set the probability of card collection, and upload images for the front and back of the cards.
TIP
You may upload custom-designed images; recommended dimensions are 200x270 or similar ratios.
Step 3: Prize Configuration
Markivo Referral & Rewards provides four types of prizes: discount coupons (percentage), cash vouchers, free shipping options, and free products.
For this Christmas promotion, when users collect five snowflake cards, they can redeem a Christmas hat:
- Select Prize: Click to add a prize, choose a free product, specify the Christmas hat as the reward without limiting the number or validity of the prize.
- Card Rules: Set that collecting five snowflake cards allows users to claim a Christmas hat.
Step 4: Display Settings
Customize the visual appearance of your campaign in the Widget Design tab to ensure it aligns with your brand style and campaign theme.
- Display Locations: Set where the campaign appears on your site and mobile app, such as the homepage, product page, or checkout page, to maximize visibility.
- Customization: Adjust widget size, margins, corner radii, and color schemes to enhance user experience.
Step 5: Notification Settings
Configure email alerts in the Notification tab to keep users informed about important events like prize redemption or expiration warnings. Set the email sender and reply addresses to facilitate easy communication and feedback.
Campaign Management
Use the Preview feature to verify all settings before launch to ensure the campaign appears as intended.
After going live, monitor participation numbers, new user additions, and total revenue generated from the campaign on the dashboard.
