Quick start guide

Verify Age allows merchants to set age restrictions in their stores, ensuring compliance with regulations in target markets.

How to access

1. Log in to the Genstore admin.
2. Click Apps -> Verify Age in the left menu.
3. If the app is not pinned to the menu, go to Apps -> Installed to open it.

Dashboard

On the home dashboard, you can view an overview of verification data:

• Impressions: Number of times the verification popup was shown
• Verified: Number of visitors who confirmed they meet the age requirement
• Rejected: Number of visitors who failed or declined the verification

Create an age restriction rule

1. Click the Create button in the top right corner.
2. In the setup window, complete the following settings:

Basic settings

• Minimum age limit: Enter the minimum required age (e.g., 18).
• Reject action: Choose what happens when access is denied (e.g., show a restriction message).
• Popup re-display cycle: Set how many days later the popup should reappear (default: 30 days).

Popup text

Customize the popup content, including title, subtitle, confirm button, decline button, and restriction message.

Tip: {age} is a variable that will be automatically replaced with the set age value.

Additional options

• Terms information (optional): Add extra notes such as site policy or compliance statements.

Layout design

In the Layout tab, customize fonts and colors for titles, buttons, and popup background to match your store style.

Popup placement

In the Settings tab, select where the popup appears (all pages or selected pages).

After completing the settings, click Save or Publish in the top right corner.

View and manage rules

In the Verify Age list, you can:

• View all created rules
• Edit, enable/disable, or delete rules
