Set up to sell on Amazon

After installation, you can start linking your Genstore storefront with your stores on other marketplaces, such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and more.

Step 1: Add a marketplace

TIP

  • Currently, only Amazon is supported. Other marketplaces (eBay, Walmart, TEMU, etc.) will be supported in future updates.
  • The same Amazon marketplace can only be added once.

Operation steps:

  1. Click the Add marketplace button in the top-right corner to open the marketplace setup page.
  2. Select the Amazon marketplace you want to add. Note: The same Amazon marketplace can only be added once.
  3. Button display country: If you want the button to appear only for specific countries or regions, select them here. If none are selected, the button will be shown in all countries.
  4. Button text: Supports multilingual text. Click Add language to configure localized button text.
    • Currently supported languages: Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, English, and Spanish. Default is English.
    • You can customize the text for each language to match your storefront settings.
  5. Button style: Customize the button size, color, icon, and other appearance options to align with your brand.

Once the marketplace is added, you can start linking products to it.

  1. Click the Select products button under the marketplace to choose which products to link.
  2. You can link products individually or by collection.
  3. If a product is already linked to another Amazon marketplace, you will see a prompt asking whether to force the switch. Confirming will remove it from the original marketplace and link it to the current one.

Note: The product list will display all currently linked products.

For Amazon-linked products, you must set either an ASIN or a custom link; otherwise, the button will not function.

  1. Click the Edit button next to a product and enter either the Amazon ASIN or a custom link in the popup window.
  2. Rules:
    • You must enter at least one of ASIN or custom link.
    • If both are provided, the system will prioritize the custom link.

Step 4: Add the button to your theme template

To ensure the button is displayed, you need to add it to your theme template.

  1. Click the Go to theme editor prompt at the top of the app homepage to jump to the theme editor, or go to Genstore -> Online Store -> Themes, and click the Design button next to your current theme.
  2. In the theme editor, select the Product page at the top, then click Default Product.
  3. In the left-hand menu, click Edit next to Preview, then select a product that has been linked. Ensure the following:
    • The product’s display country matches the one currently previewed in the editor.
    • The product has a valid ASIN or custom link.
  4. In the left-hand menu, go to Segment template > Product information, then click Add block.
  5. In the popup, switch to the Apps tab and select Marketplace button to add it.
  6. After adding, you can drag and reposition the block on the left panel.
  7. Click Save in the top-right corner when finished.

Once setup is complete, you can visit any linked product page on your storefront to verify the button’s appearance and redirection.
